About

I split my time between commissions and personal work. My primary interest as an image maker is at the place where humanity and environments interact. I also continuously explore how implied meanings, subtext and narrative in images can shift as image context shifts. For years, I’ve been an avid running + fitness geek and an (almost) lifelong skateboarder. The exploratory nature of these pursuits have deeply influenced my work.

My first book, Again and Again was released in 2014 and I am currently working on a second book entitled Glass Corner – which will be released in a limited run in late 2017. In 2013 I was named to the Art Director’s Club Young Guns 11th class.

My work can be seen in the special collections at:

Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Yale University
The Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography
Joan Flasch Artist’s Book Collection – School of the Art Institute, Chicago
John Cleary Library – Houston Center for Photography
Documentary Photography Archive – Ohio University Library

Work has also been featured by American Photo, National Geographic, VSCO, Time, CNN, Phaidon, Fast Company, The Huffington Post, Vice Creator’s Project, Juxtapoz, and others.
